Cloud9
One of the most tenured American organisations, Cloud9 has always remained consistent as one of the best teams in the league and has claimed six regional titles in the process. That said, their failure to reach Worlds last year meant that changes were carried out; the superstar mid laner Jojopyun left amid rumours of repeated punctuality issues and was replaced by Loki while bot laner Berserker made way for the returning Sven.
Now the side are back among the top once again, their top four finish during Split 1 a foundation for growth. Their start to Split 2 has been stellar, sitting top in the regular standings with playoffs around the corner.
Team Liquid – League of Legends Pro Team
TL has historically been the team willing to spend most in NA, so it’s no surprise that they’re also one of the most successful. While their all-Korean experiment didn’t pay off in 2023, a tweaked 2024 roster featuring the additions of Impact and UmTisaw huge improvement, winning two regional titles and going to two international tournaments in a year-and-a-half.
Under the guidance of coach Spawn, they’ve been highlighted by analysts as a team with one of the best understandings of laneswaps on the planet, even ahead of Eastern titans from China and Korea.

G2 Esports
G2 Esports has completely dominated EMEA in recent years, winning seven out of the last nine LEC titles. G2 has proven that when stakes are on the line, they will perform no matter what.
Veterans such as Caps and BrokenBlade are amongst the best League of Legends players in the region and can lead the team to success with their communication, while Hans Sama can bring out his mechanics as the ADC. G2 has always been the face of EU and is one of the best League of Legends pro teams in the world; consistently EMEA’s best chance at a deep runs in international tournaments.
Karmine Corp
The giant French organisation initially struggled for results upon their entry to the LEC in 2024, with a host of roster and coaching changes throughout the season in search of higher placings. By Summer, their squad that included Canna, Vladi, and Targamas had already put the initial pieces in place towards building a solid squad.
Then, for 2025, seven-time LEC champion Yike ed in the jungle and bot lane prodigy Caliste was finally promoted to the main roster, immediately catapulting the team to a Winter trophy — preventing G2 from winning a seventh consecutive title. That was followed up by a second-place finish in First Stand, EMEA’s best international placing since 2019.
Fnatic
Fnatic is one of the most storied esports organisations across titles and their LoL team is no different. After winning the Season One Championship, Fnatic has gone on to spend more than a decade as one of Europe’s best teams and its current roster, led by mid/jungle duo Humanoid and Razork, has finished second in the last three of the last four LEC events.
While they’ve not managed to win an LEC title since 2018, they’re a side that can never be counted out and always feel close to their next championship. This year’s additions of Upset and Mikyx see them hold arguably the best bot lane in the league, giving them as good a chance as ever of finally winning another regional league.

T1
Faker’s dominance is back, claiming back-to-back World Championship titles in a career resurgence. But the momentum has gone. Superstar top laner Zeus — the world’s best in his role — left for Hanwha Life in dramatic circumstances and his replacement Doran is not up to par.
Though the side currently have little hopes of an LCK title, they rank among ‘the best of the rest’, clearly having contenders for the best players in each respective role, but falling slightly behind the ‘Big Two’ of Gen.G and HLE.
Gen.G
MSI holders Gen.G are the team to beat in the LCK. They won a ridiculous four consecutive LCK titles and were upset by Hanwha Life to miss out on a fifth. Superstar mid laner Chovy has spent years as arguably the best in his role, and Canyon is widely thought of as the best ever jungler in the game.
Their 2025 roster sees the return of Ruler, one of the best bot laners to ever play League of Legends. While they fell to HLE in the LCK Cup final, Gen.G are still a Korean powerhouse and will expect to rack up more titles in the rest of the season.
Hanwha Life Esports
Hanwha Life is one of Korea’s teams with the most wealthy ownership and has simply been waiting for the right pieces to fall in place for them to finally field a title-challenging roster.
Their 2024 lineup with Zeka, Peanut and Viper looks to be that roster, finally leading to the organisation’s first LCK title last summer. Having added Zeus to the top lane this year, they’ve gone to another level, winning both the first-ever LCK Cup and the first-ever First Stand; Riot’s latest international competition.

Top Esports
A team used to being among the best in China, Top Esports’ 2025roster is no different. The g of jungle Kanavi elevated their play, while superstar ADC JackeyLove continues to be one of the best in the world in his role and has the ability to drag his team to high-place finishes, both domestically and internationally.
Split 1 victory saw the team return to LPL glory having been their first title since 2020, however their international woes continued with a disappointing display at the inaugural First Stand. Back in the LPL, the side have once again found their form and still look one of China’s best teams.
Bilibili Gaming
Despite fielding an incredible roster in 2024 that saw Bilibili win both LPL splits, the might of Korean opposition meant that they sadly finished second-place in both the Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship. Despite not claiming an international title, they were clearly one of the best teams on the planet.
2025 has been a little rocky so far, with a largely unchained lineup so far not replicating their regional form from last year. But the pure star power from the likes of top laner Bin and mid laner Knight means that they’re still among the upper echelons of the LPL.
Anyone’s Legend
An LPL participant for half a decade, Anyone’s Legend has spent the majority of its history as a bottom-half, largely forgettable team. That was until 2025 when the g of heavyweight top/jungle duo Flandre and Tarzan saw them catapult to the top of the league.
A second-place Split 1 playoffs finish was the highest they’d ever reached by some distance, and now they’re currently in the top two of Split 2’s regular season. Should they maintain that level for the remainder of the year, then they’re all but guaranteed to reach the international stage and compete for LoL’s biggest trophies.
